The apocalyptic wheels have been in motion for a while. Rituals have been observed and sacrifices made. Now, at last, my good friend at 20TWO and I are ready to release the first part of this visual storytelling experiment onto the world!
Project Sköll will be told in several parts, each aiming to give you a taste, a feeling, an understanding open to your own interpretation about one part of this world. Part One - The Old Gods, focuses on the gods of this dying planet and what became of them. We'll tell their tales through concept art and loose narratives, each God having 4/6 stills associated with them. We start with Ymir the Shaper.
Ymir’s breath is raw transformation. Endless resources, new elements, through this godly transmutation, huge leaps in technology were possible. But Ymir’s gift became a curse when he was dealt a mortal blow. Flowing out of control, his last breath, the Agonal Mist, corrupts all it touches. How long does the last breath of a God take?
We really want to inform your view on this world mostly through images with only a little blurb for backstory. We hope to take you on a journey with some room for your own imagination to fill in the gaps.
